Dye Penetrant Testing

Dye Penetrant Inspection is a method that is used to reveal surface breaking flaws by bleed out of a coloured or fluorescent dye from the flaw.

Ferrite Testing

Ferrite testing can be conducted on welding and piping products with our portable hand held battery operated Fischer Feritscope MP30E-S ferrite testers.

Eddy Current Testing

Eddy Current Testing is a technique is used to detect surface and near surface defects on relatively small areas; without the need to remove surface paint prior to testing.

Hardness Testing

Alliance offers standard hardness testing to NACE MR-01-75 (ISO 15156) using numerous types of portable industry standard Hardness testing machines.

Industrial Radiography

On-site Digital and conventional Radiography is an NDT service provided by Alliance Inspection all over the UK, as a standard, we hold both Iridium192 and Selenium75, we also can provide site X-Ray services.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Ultrasonic Testing is an NDT Service provided by Alliance across the UK. Ultrasonic Testing uses sound waves of short wavelength and high frequency to detect flaws or measure material thickness.

Level 3 Services

Alliance are able to provide NDT Level 3 services throughout the UK in RT, UT, MT, PT and VT.

Visual Inspection

Visual inspection involves a visual testing of welds and is capable of detecting surface-breaking defects, as many welding flaws are on the surface and can easily be detected via this weld inspection procedure
